The SMART organization’s sole purpose is to raise awareness and financial support for research aimed at finding treatments and ultimately cures for Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA) and related neuromuscular diseases. SMA kids are living longer, more fruitful lives because of the progress made by scientists and physicians around the world, including those at Johns-Hopkins Medical Center - direct benefactors of SMART funding.
The 7th Annual SMART Celebration is scheduled for Saturday, August 1, 2015 1-6pm, at First Niagara Center – presented by the Buffalo Professional Firefighters Local 282. The party includes canned beer, soft drinks, hot dogs, pizza, snacks, South Buffalo chicken wing table (various wings from several local taverns), incredible raffle prizes and our signature Kid Zone – including multiple inflatable’s, floor hockey on the First Niagara Center floor, 9 hole Putt-Putt course, Bubble hockey, crafts, snow cones, cotton candy, prize wheel for kids & more. Tickets are $25 per person or $50 for a household.
