Candidates for the 2010 U.S. National Junior Team will participate in a three-day camp Dec. 17-19 in Grand Forks, N.D., in preparation for the upcoming 2010 International Ice Hockey Federation World Junior Championship.

The camp, which includes 30 players, will feature practices on Thursday (Dec. 17) and Friday (Dec. 18), along with an exhibition game against the University of North Dakota men's ice hockey team on Saturday (Dec. 19). Puck drop is scheduled for 7:07 p.m. CST at Ralph Engelstad Arena.

All practices will be held at Ralph Engelstad Arena and will be open to the public. In addition, the NHL Network will air the exhibition game on tape delay Sunday (Dec. 20) at 12 p.m. EST.

The U.S. roster will be trimmed on Sunday before the team travels to Regina, Sask. Team USA will compete in an exhibition game against the Czech Republic on Dec. 22 before announcing its final roster on Dec. 23.

NOTE: Forward Kenny Ryan (Franklin Village, Mich.) was added to the preliminary roster today. Ryan participated in the 2009 USA Hockey National Junior Evaluation Camp last August in Lake Placid, N.Y., and captured a gold medal with the U.S. Men's National Under-18 Team at the 2009 International Ice Hockey Federation World Men's Under-18 Championship in Fargo, N.D., and Moorhead, Minn.
