2018 World Junior Hockey Championship
Game Relocation Policy:
It is possible that, due to weather conditions or for any other reason, the USA vs. Canada game scheduled for Friday December 29th, 2017 (“Game”) at New Era Field (“NEF”) in Orchard Park New York, cannot be played outdoors at NEF. In the event the Game cannot be played at NEF, it will be relocated to KeyBank Center (“KBC”) in Buffalo New York - time to be announced – and the following policies and procedures will apply. Any decision to relocate the game from NEF to KBC will likely not be made until approximately 24 hours before the scheduled game time. All ticket holders will be notified via the email address provided at time of purchase.
Single Game Purchasers. Individuals who purchased single game tickets for the Game at NEF will be refunded through their credit card and will receive information on how they may apply to purchase tickets for the Game at KBC. Tickets for the Game at KBC will be offered to these individuals for a limited time prior to the sale to the general public based on availability. Unfortunately, due to the smaller venue, there will be limited tickets (if any) available and, therefore, NOT all ticketholders for the Game at NEF will be guaranteed a seat for the Game at KBC.
All Session Pass holders (Gold, Silver, and Bronze packages). Individuals who purchased Gold, Silver or Bronze Packages will not be refunded for the Game at NEF and are guaranteed a seat for the number of tickets included in the Package, at no additional cost, for the Game at KBC. The tickets for the Game at KBC will be delivered electronically via the individual’s e-mail. Those Package holders that purchased the additional seats they were offered in their Package for the Game at NEF (“Additional Seats”) will have the opportunity to apply to obtain the same number of Additional Seats, at no additional cost, for a limited period prior to the sale of the Game to the general public. Again though, due to the reduced size of the venue, the Additional Seats are not guaranteed and will be issued based on availability. If the Additional Seats are not available, refunds will be provided to the purchasers of Additional Seats.
8 and 12 Game Package holders. Individuals who purchased 8 and 12 game packages and selected the Game at NEF as part of their package, will be provided a seat, at no additional cost, for the Game at KBC, based on inventory available prior to the sale to the general public. Refunds for the Game at NEF will only be issued if there are no seats available for the Game at KBC. Seat location based on availability. These tickets will be delivered electronically to the individual’s e-mail.
